We are aware of that a Cyber Attack was launched against our business.
The attacker used a compiled list of credit card details from card issuers around the world, apparently not any from the UK. The incident did not affect any credit/debit cards that have been used in our shop or for online bookings and payments by our customers.
We do indeed understand the inconvenience of this as it has affected our business as much as it has affected people around the world. The amount unlawfully charged was in most intances £1 or the equivalent amount in other currencies.
However, as soon as we became aware of this, we reported the incident to our Card Payment Processor as well as to the UK Action Fraud Team. All unlawfully charges have now been refunded by our Card Processing Provider and they are continuing their investigation along with the UK Action Fraud Team.
